Amorello can be found through the little town of Hluhluwe. Amorello provides both an ideal hideaway for a relaxing break or simply a gateway to the rest of Africa. It exists in the heart of the Elephant Coast and on the doorstep of Sodwana Bay and Zululand. The St Lucia World Heritage wetlands site lies 30km down the road and countless game farms in the area offer Big 5 game viewing with Amorello providing the perfect gateway to and resting spot amongst them.
The Summer [rainy] months run from approximately November to April. Bring cool, light clothing and perhaps a raincoat or anorak for the afternoon showers. Winter days [May to October] are generally quite mild, but the nights do get rather chilly. Pack some warm clothes and a beanie for those cozy nights around the fire.

Directions to Amorello:
FROM DURBAN
Take the N2 North from Durban and travel approximately 2.5 hours to Hluluwe. Take the Hluhluwe / Sodwana Bay turnoff, turn right over the bridge into Hluluwe. Go straight through three traffic circles and at the fourth circle turn left towards Sodwana Bay. Travel approximately 1km on this road and then turn right over the railway line onto the R22 Sodwana Rd. Drive for 18.8 km and on this road you will find the Amorello entrance on your left. It is the only thatched entrance on this road.
FROM JHB
From Pongola on N2 , travel until you get to the Hluhluwe / Sodwana Bay turnoff, take it and at the stop street, turn left. Follow the above directions from the first traffic circle.
